As you and I were driving down south, talking and laughing from the silly stories we were sharing, listening to my favorite indie band,
anticipating the sunrise with my camera in one hand and the other intertwined with yours while you were steadily controlling the steering wheel
- all I could think of was that there was no place else I’d rather be and if I were to die at that very moment, I’d definitely die happy.
I feel the brightness of the sun envelop my skin and suddenly find myself waking up to the heat that was actually piercing through the curtains that hung on my room’s window.
It was all a dream after all.
